What a year it’s been. As 2022 winds down and we look forward to a break over the festive season, we would like to take a moment to thank our fantastic staff and customers – we couldn’t have done it without you!
You may have noticed we’ve introduced a new logo for our Emerald Group of businesses – or, as we call ourselves, ‘Emerald’. This change will better unite our range of energy-efficient solutions under one banner.
So why the change? Simply put, our customer’s needs have evolved, and so have our products. Our range has grown significantly over the past few years, and our brand update reflects this. In addition, our name better reflects Emerald’s commitment to a sustainable future.

Along with this update and shiny new logo come new websites. These websites better showcase our range and make finding your favourite Emerald products easier. They also reflect our dedication to continued product development.

You probably already know Emerald Planet as the leader in energy-efficient lighting and other products designed to make the most of government subsidies, saving money for you and your clients. This will continue in the new year as we roll out new and improved versions of some of our most popular products with even greater efficiency.

Big things are happening at Emerald Alarms, so it deserves it’s own new website. The new industry first Hybrid Smoke Alarm adds to our extensive range of photoelectric smoke alarms and accessories. This unique smoke alarm adapts to suit your client’s needs and can be hardwired, battery-powered, interconnected, or stand-alone. Think how much time and hassle you could save with these on hand – no need to purchase separate alarms for different install scenarios!
Emerald Energy Management System (EMS app) – New products now available.
As energy prices continue to rise around Australia, the EMS app has proven to be a popular tool to help households monitor their energy use and keep their power bills in check. Here are a couple of compatible new products that have been added:
The Emerald EMS app links directly to Emerald radio frequency (RF) enabled smoke alarms via the new SafeLink Wi-Fi Gateway, sending real-time smoke alarm status directly to a smartphone. Remotely test and monitor your or a loved one’s smoke alarm network from anywhere in the world.
Emerald’s new LiveLink is a Wi-Fi Gateway between the Electricity Advisor and the homeowner’s smartphone, giving them access to their home energy usage wherever they are.
We continue to meet with industry leaders and politicians to ensure our products reflect the latest technology and initiatives in energy efficiency. With a history of innovative new products we aim to help Australia reach it’s 2050 net-zero emissions goal, reducing carbon emissions and creating a safer, cleaner future.
