Headline – ESC request for submissions for Activity 21A Abulb upgrades.

  • The ESC have asked for submissions on a consultation paper to extend the transition period to allow non omni-directional lamps to be installed until 31 July 2019 under activity 21A of the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.
  • Submissions are due at 5.00pm Wednesday 24 April 2019, to be sent to [email protected].

 

Results

In the week ending 14th April 2019, VEEC creation was as follows:

  • 91,703 up 20% compared to the previous week’s creation of 76,223.
  • This is the highest weekly creation this year and continues an upward trend since the start of 2019.
  • The average for the last 3 weeks is now 81,900
  • This increase is due to increased creation activities in both 21A and Commercial lighting.
  • Commercial Lighting contributed 51,853 (57%) compared to 38,726 (50%) the previous week
  • Updated 21A had another record week with 28,369 VEECs (31%) created compared to 23,467 VEECs (30.5%)the week before.
  • This continues the trend of increasing 21A creation to four consecutive weeks.

The VEEC spot price was $20.50 COB Friday, unchanged from the previous Friday.
