The current situations

We are fortunate that our workforce across China is returning to duties, and we are optimistic that normal operating services will resume next week. Our factories are not in high-risk Coronavirus areas, meaning Government restrictions are slowly being lifted as the infection risk reduces. Reports from the various regions where our factories are based are that shopping malls have reopened and students will be returning to school next week.

Stuart Edgley, Emerald Planet Managing Director, “We are working with our factories and international transport partners to manage our response to the Coronavirus and minimise the impact across a few of our product ranges. Product availability is one of our highest priorities, and while we work to replenished high-demand product lines, I would like to reassure customers that we have suitable product alternatives in stock, available to order today” he said.

Our focus

  • Keeping our customers informed and aware of current stock availability.
  • Balancing the supply and demand across high-demand product ranges.
  • Prioritising new orders and shipments from China based on customer demand.
  • Providing suitable product alternatives to customers.

Confidence in our factories and logistic partners

It’s safe to say that the next few months will bring some level of disruption and uncertainty. As our factories return to full capacity in the coming days and weeks, we have confidence that our logistic partners, who are agile enough to react quickly in these circumstances, will help to replenish any product shortages we have incurred. We also strive to maintain an open communication approach with our customers and will continue to bring you up-to-date information over the coming weeks and months.
